First Official Sari Sari Store opens in Dubai

Dubai, UAE – SandBox Middle East, the largest Filipino-owned importer and distributor of food and grocery items, proudly announced its venture into the retail business with the grand opening of its Sari Sari store – a specialty convenience shop showcasing curated Philippine-made food and grocery items.

Sari Sari store made its highly anticipated opening in the vibrant neighborhood of Karama, Dubai. This marks the first of 15 planned locations across the United Arab Emirates, offering residents and expatriates a taste of the Philippines’ rich culinary heritage.

The exclusive ribbon-cutting ceremonies were held under the esteemed presence of His Excellency, Alfonso Ferdinand A. Ver, Chief of Mission Class I, and the Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to the United Arab Emirates. Joining him were Philippine Consul General Renato N. Dueñas Jr., SandBox Middle East Chief Executive Officer, Lito German, and SandBox Chief Operating Officer Mark Mauricio, among other VIPs in attendance.
