Since 2010, the Bayanihan Council has been bringing Filipinos in Abu Dhabi together by encouraging active engagement and awareness through several initiatives

Composed of Chairman Elmer O. Casao, Vice-Chairman Ronald Precilla, Secretary Sheryl Palacios-Manalo, Treasurer Analiza Binondo, Auditor Jaymar Ismael, Assistant Secretary Emma Wenceslao, Assistant Treasurer Renante Abellanosa, Assistant Auditor Richard Manalo, and Sergeant-at-Arms Ireneo Ara, the Bayanihan Council, is recognized under the Philippine Embassy as an active hub for events, information and community projects

“Our biggest contribution is uniting Filipinos and assisting the Embassy to disseminate useful information to our fellow overseas Filipinos,” says Elmer Casao.

He urges Filipinos to be exceptional models of employees and residents in the Middle East, proactive in elevating living and professional standards among their peers. “If all of us can do that, it would have a great impact on how we are perceived as professionals in other parts of the world,” he says.
